Totally Like Whatever Flash Cards home page

Chinese English Pinyin

by Barrett Koster

This is the home page for the app "Totally Like Whatever Flash Cards". There are wordlists to use with the app, and you can make your own lists and use them with the app.

The list format is ...
line 1: integer with format version number, currently 2
line 2: 3 strings separate by 2 commas saying the 3 categories for information on the cards. For example "Chinese,Pinyin,English".
line 3+: 3 strings separated by 2 commas for a single card.

I wrote this app after making stacks of paper flashcards for a course series in Chinese I was taking. Existing flashcard apps didn't have 3-part cards, and they didn't start from either side (in this case, from any of the 3 sides). From there, the app is pretty straight forward, data from the files makes quiz questions on the screen. I find training mode particularly useful, to get past the ones you know and hammer on the ones you don't.

Note: I can't speak for the embedded ads, but this app proper does not give or sell your information to anyone. I do not have an interest in (or the cleverness to) do anything besides what it looks like, quiz you on vocabulary lists. This app has no code to read or write files on your phone anywhere besides its designated data directory. more on privacy policy .
